Jesus said to him, “What do you mean ‘if’? If you are able to believe, all things are possible to the believer.”
Easter at Covenant Church
Forty-two middle and high school students spent seven days in the mountains, disconnected from their phones and social media, but deeply connected to each other and to God. The theme for the week was “Anchored in Faith,” and our students explored what it means to stay grounded in Christ during the storms of life.
Each day included morning worship, small group discussions, recreation time, and evening campfire gatherings. Guest speaker Pastor James Martinez challenged our students with powerful messages about identity, purpose, and living authentically for Christ.
Service Times and Details
Monday – Team Building Day
We kicked off the week with high ropes courses and team challenges that pushed students out of their comfort zones and built trust within the group.
Wednesday – Service Project
Our group spent the afternoon serving at a local food bank, packing hundreds of meal boxes for families in need. It was incredible to see our students’ hearts for service come alive.
Friday – Testimony Night
Around the campfire, students shared how God had spoken to them during the week. There wasn’t a dry eye as we heard stories of breakthrough, healing, and renewed commitment to following Jesus.
Invite a Friend
The impact of this week will ripple throughout our youth ministry all year long. Students returned with a renewed passion for God, deeper friendships, and a commitment to live out their faith boldly.
We’re already planning for next summer’s camp, and registration will open in January. If you have a middle or high school student who didn’t join us this year, we’d love to have them next summer!
Want to support our youth ministry? Consider sponsoring a student for next year’s camp. The cost is $350 per student, and scholarships are available for families who need financial assistance. Contact our Youth Pastor, Sarah Johnson, at youth@covenantchurch.com to learn more.
